The Power of Short Videos: How Three Simple Hacks on My Phone Generate $3K+ Each Month.

I’m excited to share some simple yet powerful 'hacks’ that I've been using to generate $3K+ per month, just by creating short videos on my smartphone.

Here are a few things that are not required. We don’t have to:

• have an email list

• have a product

• pay for advertising

• pitch our friends and family

When I first heard about this ‘side hustle’ it sounded too good to be true. In the past most of the things listed above were a prerequisite. You normally have to, at minimum, pay for advertising even if you were promoting someone else’s product (as an affiliate for example).

I didn’t know if this one was any different or if it would work so I put my toe in the water to find out.

To my surprise, it worked. I made money out of the gate! Then I decided that there must be some ‘hacks’ that would help me make the most of it and earn more money, so I bought several courses so that I could learn.

A friend of mine in the marketing space who’s opinion I value, had told me I could probably figure it out on my own but I quit doing that years ago. Time is money. I simply found people that were doing what I wanted to do and I paid them to teach me.

I had a goal of this covering all of my bills as fast as possible. I did it in 4 months.

1. Use a microphone for good sound quality: Good audio is a cornerstone of quality video content. It’s a common misconception that the built-in microphone in your smartphone is enough. The truth is, a good external microphone dramatically enhances sound quality, providing your viewers with a far superior viewing experience and thus boosting your viewership and income. 2. I use a tripod/selfie stick: Stability is crucial in producing professional-looking videos. Using a tripod or selfie stick helps ensure that your footage is smooth and steady, increasing its overall quality and making it more enjoyable to watch. I use this one. It’s the best one I’ve ever had and I highly recommend it.

3. I use software that gives me sales figures: For the first 2 months I didn’t have this and I really was ‘flying blind’. Using software that shows how many sales a product is getting will help you earn more commissions simply because the market is organically driving more traffic to your videos.
